Design Your Own Ceremony Space: How The PHNX Lets You Create Without Limits
Forget the One-Size-Fits-All Setup
Most venues give you a few layout options, but they also give you plenty of restrictions. Where the aisle must go. Where guests can sit. Where the ceremony “has to” be. At The PHNX, that’s not our style.
We believe your ceremony should feel like you — whether that’s traditional, modern, bold, or somewhere in between. That’s why we created a venue that gives you full freedom to design your ceremony layout from scratch.
A Blank Canvas with Endless Possibilities
The main hall at The PHNX is wide open, with no columns or built-in structures. You’re not locked into one direction or one setup. Want your ceremony centered under the windows? Go for it. Prefer to flip the space and use the bay doors as your backdrop? You can. Dreaming of a sunset ceremony on the covered patio? Let’s do it.
This flexibility makes it easy to accommodate different cultural traditions, unique seating styles, and creative staging — without compromise.
Flow From Ceremony to Reception
When couples use The PHNX for both ceremony and reception, they’re amazed by how naturally it all flows. Set your ceremony in the main hall, then transition your guests to the patio for cocktail hour. Our team can flip the space while your guests mingle.
And if you’re using an outside wedding planner or coordinator, they’ll love how easy it is to work with our layout. No fixed platforms. No obstructions. Just open, modern space they can build on.
Here’s what couples usually ask:
Do I need to rent extra items to customize the ceremony layout?
Not necessarily. We provide 60" round tables and 100 chairs, and you’re welcome to bring in additional decor, archways, or altar pieces. We can help you figure out what you’ll need based on your vision. Can we use both indoor and outdoor areas?
Yes. The patio, foyer, and overlook are all available to you as part of your rental. Many couples even use the upstairs loft as a private bridal space before the ceremony. Is there a fixed aisle or entrance point?
No. You choose where the aisle starts, where it ends, and how the chairs are arranged. You have full control over the direction and style of your ceremony. What if I need help designing the layout?
We’re happy to work with you or your planner to find the perfect setup. We’ve hosted everything from circle-style ceremonies to modern minimalist arrangements.
At The PHNX, your layout reflects your story. You bring the vision. We bring the space that adapts to it.
