Our Story
Built from the ashes. Reimagined for people.
The PHNX isn’t just a building — it’s a symbol of what’s possible when resilience meets vision.
The building has been owned by multiple owners throughout the years and was a run down, flooded out, exhausted building — until we bought it. As soon as we took over in 2012 we poured our heart and soul into the building fixing it up and turning a shell of a building into a home where we were able to impact literally thousands of lives.
In 2023, a fire completely destroyed that building that once stood on this site for over 50 years. Our home, our refuge, where our kids called “Daddy’s House” because it was literally their second home.
It wasn’t just a loss of equipment or structure — it was truly the loss of a home, a rhythm, a space that held years of hard work, transformation, and community. The shock was real. But so was the resolve.
What followed was two years of showing up anyway. We moved our business to Gateway Family Church within 12 hours and immediately got to work. No excuses, no time spent unraveling, just straight to solutions and taking care of those who rely most on us. We hauled equipment every single Friday and every single Sunday, turning Gateway Church into our makeshift gym. We tore down an entire gyms worth of equipment every Friday before setting up an entire church, and then we set back up every Sunday — removing all of the church chairs and hauling back in all of the equipment that we had just moved out just 48 hours prior. We did this for over 2 years, moving the equivalent of 48,000 chairs and millions of pounds of equipment.
No complaints, no regret, no excuses. Just commitment. And even in the midst of loss, the community got stronger.
We didn’t just rebuild a gym. We reimagined the purpose of this space entirely. The vision expanded — beyond barbells and workouts. We asked, "What if this could be more? What if this could become a place that sparks connection all week long?" That’s how The PHNX was born.
What rose in its place is something more.
From the ashes came not a replica, but a reimagining. The PHNX is a modern venue designed with flexibility at its core. During the week, it’s alive with movement, ideas, and collaboration — a home for fitness coaches, therapists, creatives, and leaders. On the weekends, the space transforms — weddings, corporate events, and celebrations unfold within the same walls, made beautiful by thoughtful design and purpose-built architecture.
This space exists to hold life in all its forms. It was built to flex, to adapt, and to serve. What started as a gym evolved into a Collective — a place that breathes life back into the community it came from.
From Us To You
This journey has stretched us, challenged us, and shaped us in ways we never expected. There were nights we questioned if we could keep going — rebuilding while still leading, still serving, still showing up for the people who believed in us.
There were long days, delays, closed doors, and constant decisions. And yet, in the middle of all of it, there was overwhelming support. Friends who showed up to move flooring. Coaches who said, "We’ve got it." Clients who followed us into a borrowed space with no complaints — just heart.
The PHNX is a physical space, but more than that, it’s the outcome of belief. Of faith. Of people choosing to keep going.
We’re humbled by what has come to life here, and we want you to know — we don’t take it for granted. This isn’t just our dream. It’s a reflection of every single person who walked with us through the fire and into this next chapter.

The Rebuild: A Journey of Faith, Fire, and Forward Motion
From the moment we lost the building, we started capturing the journey. We wanted to be honest — about the setbacks, the waiting, the little milestones. So we recorded videos. Some days were filled with progress. Some days we felt stuck. But through it all, we documented the steps forward.
This playlist is more than a collection of updates — it’s a window into what it really takes to build something from the ground up while still showing up for the people around you.
During those two years, we didn’t just rebuild a structure — we built resolve. We grew stronger as a team, tighter as a community, and more certain that this space would become something special.
We didn’t just rebuild walls — we built a platform for people.
This is what The PHNX exists to be — and why we’re just getting started. Every tenant, every event, every visitor adds new energy to what’s unfolding here. The space was built with purpose, but it’s the people who give it life.
